Thanks to everyone who has made the first 12 club nights over this first year a tremendous success. Our regular accordionists have given so much pleasure to our enthusiasts and accordionists alike. The most marvellous array of music has been played, and with such vibrant performances. All styles of music have been appreciated by all. Our senior players, Robert Hood, Basil Berry, Bill, Florence Brannelli,
Jean Southern, Belinda Treble, Jeff and Jay, and honorary members, Ken Farren, Johnny Colclough, George Hicks have given memorable performances. Our hard working Junior members and students of the Marsh Mill School of Music. Andrew Figg, Sarah Jane, William, Julie and Stewart Langton and Leonie Treble have all achieved area titles and qualified for the national event, and have given us all so much pleasure with their incredible repertoire, and truly professional performances. We have to thank all of them for their support of the club, and editorial help with the BBK paperwork. We have to thank our treasurer John Fairclough, for all his hard work. The youngsters have been featured on the radio and television, with great success. Music from the piano students have been featured over the last year, using vocal and instrumental expertise, the integration has been so well received. Norman and I, Gina & Romany Rye, appear every month with the Concerto, on the same basis as all the members, we enjoy ourselves in a superb relaxed atmosphere surrounded by good friends every month. The Christmas party was a tremendous success, with over 160 members, guests and visitors.
